Dr. Greg Schroeder

Dr. Schroeder is a licensed, practicing physical therapist for over 14 years. Additionally, he is a Board Certified Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy, a depth of knowledge and commitment that extends above and beyond the requirements of basic licensing. Dr. Schroeder is one of a few Physical Therapists in Utah register by the Utah Department of Professional Licensing to provide Dry Needling treatments. With only 5% of Physical Therapist having a board certification, you can be confident that he has the knowledge, experience, and specialized skills to evaluate and treat your physical condition. Dr. Schroeder has taken his innovative approach to manage and reducing work injuries to the corporate setting. He develops on-site therapy programs for companies, implements stretching and return to work programs, provides injury prevention training, and develops post-offer pre-employment screens for employers to help them reduce costs associated with musculoskeletal injuries.

Dr. Schroeder received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Brigham Young University where he wrestled competitively on the collegiate team. After Graduating from BYU, he received a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from the Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Schroeder is married with seven children. He enjoys coaching youth wrestling, soccer, mountain biking, and other sports, reading, and spending time with his family.

Dr. Spencer Craig Despain

Dr. Spencer Craig Despain graduated with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from A.T. Still University in Mesa Arizona in 2014. Prior to graduate school, he attended Arizona State University earning his bachelors of science in exercise and wellness. His passion for physical therapy began after a serious injury to his low back caused him to need physical therapy himself, and his compassionate and caring manner for the well being of others has allowed him to thrive in a variety of clinical settings. He has worked the last 10 years in the physical therapy field, and his clinical rotations included study in neurologic and inpatient acute care settings with a focus on outpatient orthopedics and sports rehabilitation.

Dr. Despain enjoys teaching and spent time teaching anatomy workshops to high school and college students during his Doctoral program. He is also an avid snowboarder, mountain biker, and hiker, and enjoys teaching snowboarding.

His ability to explain concepts simply, patiently, and thoroughly allows for a comfortable rehabilitation process. Physical Therapy strengths include manual therapy, postural assessment for trunk control, and advanced exercise program development for any patient at any level of fitness.

Matthew Baldwin

Dr. Matt Baldwin is a Cache Valley native, having graduated from Sky View High School in 2005. He attended Utah State University graduating with his Bachelor of Science in Human Movement Science in 2010 and his Master of Science in Health and Human Movement in 2014. Upon graduating from USU, Dr. Baldwin received his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 2017.

While at OU, he had the unique opportunity to work in various outpatient physical therapy settings, working with the general population and with high school, college, and professional athletes. He has subsequently focused his education on rehabilitation of the spine, lower and upper extremities and postsurgical conditions while utilizing the McKenzie Method® of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy® (MDT) and the Mulligan ConceptTM of Manual Therapy with emphasis on mobilization with movement techniques (MWM). He is further interested in developing his skills in strength and conditioning and progressing towards orthopedic and sports physical therapy board certifications.

Dr. Baldwin enjoys working with all types of patients, with special emphasis on orthopedics and sports medicine. He strives to provide valuable education to help empower his patients in self-management of their conditions and help patients overcome their pain and ailments. His strengths include patient education, mechanical therapy, sports rehabilitation, and the treatment of low back pain. He is married to his wonderful wife, MacKenzie, and enjoys spending time with her while helping raise their growing family. Dr. Baldwin is excited to be back in Logan with plans to enjoy all the outdoor activities it has to offer and help support the health and wellness of his community.

Breshae Christofferson

Breshae Christofferson is a Physical Therapist Assistant at our Logan location. She was the president of her Physical Therapist Assistant program at Salt Lake Community College, where she earned her Physical Therapist Assistant degree in 2016. Breshae is dedicated to helping her patients reach their goals and improving their quality of life. She believes in working as a team with her patients and strives to give everyone the one on one care they need and deserve.  Breshae is skilled in manual treatments such as trigger point release and soft tissue massage. As a native to Cache Valley, Breshae is proud to be able to help those in her home community.

Breshae has a passion for ice hockey and can relate to many of her athletic patients and their drive to return to sport. As a teenager, she suffered a broken ankle while playing hockey and participated in physical therapy in order to regain her strength and stability. This also sparked her drive to becoming a Physical Therapist Assistant so that she could help others return to the activities that they love. She currently plays on several rec league hockey teams, including one with her husband. Breshae also loves to spend her free time hiking with her dog, gardening, and cooking.
