Dr. Greg Schroeder, PT, DPT, OCS

Dr. Schroeder is a licensed, practicing physical therapist for over 14 years. Additionally, he is a Board Certified Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy, a depth of knowledge and commitment that extends above and beyond the requirements of basic licensing. Dr. Schroeder is a one of a few Physical Therapists in Utah register by the Utah Department of Professional Licensing to provide Dry Needling treatments. With only 5% of Physical Therapist having a board certification, you can be confident that he has the knowledge, experience and specialized skills to evaluate and treat your physical condition. Dr. Schroeder has taken his innovative approach to managing and reducing work injuries to the corporate setting. He develops on-site therapy programs for companies, implements stretching and return to work programs, provides injury prevention training, and develops post offer pre-employment screens for employers to help them reduce costs associated with musculoskeletal injuries.

Dr. Schroeder received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Brigham Young University where he wrestled competitively on the collegiate team. After Graduating from BYU, he received a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from the Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Schroeder is married with seven children. He enjoys coaching youth wrestling, soccer, mountain biking and other sports, reading, and spending time with his family.

Dr. Eichner graduated from Idaho State University in 2014 with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He performed his clinical work in outpatient orthopedic, acute care, sports outpatient, and pediatric seeing patients of all injuries and ages. His love for physical therapy began in high school after he suffered a serious leg fracture returning kicks for the varsity high school football team that required surgery and physical therapy. The care and compassion he received from his physical therapist gave him the desire to pursue the field as a profession and provide that same care and compassion to all patients.

Dr. Eichner is currently involved in a post-professional one year orthopedic residency program that specializes in a hands on manual technique approach that aims to provide superior and lasting relief to those he treats. He has a passion for finding solutions to neck and back pain along with helping workers and athletes alike return to full function.

Growing up on a farm in Northern Idaho, Dr. Eichner has a love for the outdoors including hunting, fishing, and boating. Sports have also been a large part of his life from high school playing basketball, baseball, and football, into college where he played collegiate basketball for Southern Virginia University. He is also fluent in Spanish.

Tracey serves our patients as a Physical Therapy Assistant. She graduated from Salt Lake Community College with Associates of Applied Science and has been a licensed practicing PTA since 1997. In 2003, she was awarded PTA of the year by the American Physical Therapy Association in Utah. Her special clinical interest include treatment of the spine, manual therapy, hand and upper extremity. Her interest in this led her to organize and present two continuing education courses at IHC’s Cottonwood Back Institute.

Tracey also served in the United States Navy as a corpsman from 1988-1998.

Her personal interest includes target shooting at the range, spending time with her family, visiting Zion and Arches National Park and vacationing in New Jersey where she visits with her extended family and relaxes at the Jersey shore.

Diana has been in the healthcare industry for over 5 years — 3 of which have been spent providing care to patients with Dr. Schroeder. Along with overseeing the clinic, she enjoys interacting with our patients, scheduling their appointments, coordinating their care and preauthorizing insurance benefits. She also manages to ensure that Dr. Schroeder’s hectic schedule is kept on track!

Diana is a joy and a pleasure to work with—she is positive cheerleader for our patients and never fails to bring a laugh and a smile to all those around her.

Brittney welcomes and schedules patients in the Layton clinic. She has a very friendly and caring personality and enjoys getting to know the patients personally. Brittney’s love of people and her attention to detail helps to ensure our patients have a comfortable and positive treatment experience.

Brittney’s previous work experience includes assisting people with excellent customer service in both the travel and insurance industries. Brittney enjoys being with her family and going to movies. She and her husband have four wonderful children.

Libby serves our patients in the Logan, Utah clinic. She loves the diversity of people, where everyone has a story to share.

What Libby loves most about her job is the interaction she has with the patients that come in to the clinic. She enjoys getting to know them personally as they continue to come to treatment, and is always thrilled when they are able to get back to the level of function they were before their accident, surgery or what brought them to Backatwork physical therapy in Logan.
